Webmaster/Member Larry "Squid" Kiewra's "One Particular Harbour" Costume submission for MOTM 2003
Initial idea was to fill the harbour (pool) with water (approx 8 gallons), which weighed like 65 Lbs! Which is no problem carrying with the support platform, but walking is extremely awkward! I'd be praying I would not fall! I'm deciding to use only 2-3 gallons, which allows plenty of splash while walking without spilling a drop! I'm not sure if the MOTM / Margaritaville organizers would want water in the pool if I was chosen to go onstage (although a little shock therapy might do me some good!!).
In order to get the photo of the costume in before the deadline, I left my dockers at home along with my Margarita! There are also bumper stickers should be on the pool (Margaritaville & Metro PHC), and of course fill it with a few inches of water! (95 year old Aunt Sally would have had a pretty good heart stress test if I had the water in the pool at the time of shooting in her TV room!!!).
Wish me luck!!! -- Squid
